Likelihood to Recommend Cvent Surveys is well suited for gathering post-event data from the audience. It has easy reporting and gives information from the audience that we would not normally have without speaking to each potential attendee separately. The program also allows us to collect data on flight information using sub questions for attendees.
Read full review Formstack makes it easy to create a variety of forms. I have used it for event interest and registrations, email list sign-ups, and surveys. I have found it easy to customize, and easy to export data for import into other systems (e.g., CRM).
Read full review Pros Allows for the creation of chapters to easily manage different components of a survey that are targeted to specific individuals based on their program or contractual interaction with our company. The canned reports available from within Cvent have proven most useful. We feel Cvent put a lot of thought into the most common operational types of reports that would benefit organizations without the need for producing adhoc reporting to meet the needs of creating valuable metrics. The invitation process for uploading an invitation file is extremely easy. If automation is not feasible at the given time for the organization, having the ability to upload an invitation file and send out surveys is extremely intuitive and quick. Training videos within Cvent have proven most effective when trying to solve a survey design problem. The videos are easy to locate and are very informative addressing all aspects of survey creation and design. Templates from within Cvent are most useful. Though customization is great and part of Cvent, we have found from an IT perspective, that the numerous templates Cvent provides have alwayw proven to be the easiest way to get our requestors their Survey within a relatively quick turn-around time frame. Email confirmation requirement. We feel this requirement within Cvent to insure that emails are being sent from a valid email address is crucial for our business from a customer satisfaction perspective, allowing our customers to realize the human factor behind the survey and as well as the ability to respond to individuals who reply to the survey invitation. Configuration and design elements from both the survey and email perspective are both intuitive and quick to use. Cvent guides you through the design process from beginning to end. Testing capabilities are incredible allowing for comments back to the development team as well as ease of importing or creating quick add respondents for assisting with the testing process. If we don't know how to do it, their support team has been very helpful and actually attempts to understand the issue on hand. User friendliness. In our field we have a phrase: "what if you get hit by a bus?" With Formstack, you can "get hit by the bus" and someone else can jump in and still keep things running (this is used as a phrase for illness, not termination). Read full review Setting up our multi-step form took some getting used to. Some of the branching logic configuration wasn't as intuitive as would be ideal. Since we were pushing data directly into Hubspot, I found it cumbersome to deal with data storage limits within Formstack. I would get frequent notices that new responses were not being stored in Formstack and that I needed to upgrade or delete data. I got tired of that. More/easier support for custom fonts would have been a huge plus. We were able to customize the form's appearance, but had to make some concessions in that regard. Read full review Our user base has come to rely on Formstack to get forms done. The Formstack tools make it easy to start from scratch or copy an existing form to "quick start" a new, similar form. The price is right and frees up IT staff to do more transformative work.

Read full review Usability This program is so versatile to be able to do whatever is needed. There isn't a time that I have built a survey that hasn't done exactly what is needed. No matter how complicated the questions are, the data that is put out is easy for leadership to read and understand. That is what is needed. They shouldn't have to go through complex data and spend a lot of time trying to analyze it.

Now with 7 billion people in the work I understand that’s not the case but I feel like Formstack get it pretty simple where a majority of humans could use it and navigate through. Google Forms is a little easier to use and that it’s pretty much impossible for any product to get a 10 on usability in my opinion.
Read full review Support Rating I have not needed to contact support before for this feature in Cvent. The support team for other features have been great though, so I will provide an answer for that. Cvent is on point with their customer care. They’re prompt and make sure the issue is fixed. They will also follow up with you to make sure everything is still working smoothly or if any additional help is needed
Read full review The agents in the original group, especially the ones in cahoots with the developers, are really solid and know what they're talking about--I'm looking at you, Collin. The 'Tier 1' support agents that typically reply to the tickets are really spotty. If you have an overly technical question, i.e. bugfix, or describe a feature from a few years back that randomly disappeared, these agents typically will give you what feels like a generic reply and not know what you're talking about.

Read full review Alternatives Considered I think Cvent surveys feel more secure. It is also a program that we are likely using for the event or meeting already, so it's nice to just use the same program for both things. Cvent surveys are an additional expense which isn't always ideal and can be a hard sell in comparison to other programs or just utilizing email
Read full review Drupal is a much more customizable platform, however you must have someone build the forms first and then you can work with them if you do not have the programming knowledge. If you have any changes to make, it can sometimes be both a time consuming and difficult process. Formstack is much more efficient if you do not have an in house programmer.
Read full review Return on Investment Increased employee efficiency is a true statement for Cvent. It is efficient for both clients and sales representatives. It also has a faster lead conversion and notifies you as soon as a client has accepted a proposal. I would not say it has any negative impact at our company whatsover.
