Google Meet, formerly Hangouts Meet, replaces the former Google Hangouts as the company's G Suite integrated web conferencing tool, allowing users to join meetings directly from a Calendar event or email invite from a computer, phone, or conference room. G Suite's Enterprise edition also creates a dial-in phone number for each meeting, as an additional convenience.

Similar to Google Meet, as I said, Teams — I use Zoom, I use… I’m not a fan of Zoom, although it’s cool, really cool. I find Google Meet easy, but Teams, I would say, has many more features than Google Meet. So these are the three platforms I usually work with.

Google Meet provides good facilities at many situations than any other software.
Chose Google Meet
Each product has its own pros and cons for example we cannot use the previously mentioned product for quick meetings because it's a bit complicated than Google hangout means so we tend to rely on each product depending on the scenario/condition that we will be facing, for …

Chose Google Meet
Google Meet has almost all the same features that other applications offer, basically you dot need to worry about missing features since you're at the same level. Google meet has a modern design, light application with a very easy UI.
Chose Google Meet
The decision was easy to make, although Google Hangouts Meet, Skype and Zoom met the initial objective, we were inclined to choose Google Hangouts Meet because it not only does a much better job, it is easy to use, it's secure, and guarantees confidentiality in all connections, …
Chose Google Meet
Well we switched from Zoom because of paying issue. While Google Hangouts Meet is almost free there zoom needs extra charge to long meetings. And Zoom couldn’t meet up our common interests while meeting with foreign clients always. Performing Zoom meetings with phone isn’t …
Chose Google Meet
The price will always stand out, as it's cheaper than the other software out there for small meetings (less than 100 participants).
The connection to the servers is great as expected
The features are not really the best of Google Hangouts Meet for teaching kinesthetic learners, …
Chose Google Meet
The user interface of Google Hangouts Meet is very simple among all of the similar tools.
There is some lack of functionality in Google Hangout Meet as compare to Zoom like one-one chatting, screen access.
We require just a few clicks to join or start meeting, where other tool …
Chose Google Meet
As stated before we prefer Zoom. It has more features and our staff has simply grown used to Zoom and prefers this platform. Zoom continues to innovate almost every month. Our Zoom rep is very good and responsive. We tested Google Hangouts Meet after using Zoom and decided to …
Chose Google Meet
The main positive feature in Google Meet over Zoom to me is the fact that Google meet can be seamlessly deployed in the browser with its full functionality. Unlike Zoom for which you need to download an extra application to use. This consequently makes workflow smooth when …
Chose Google Meet
Our firm's requirements matches the features and plans of Google Hangouts Meet. In fact, Zoom has more capability but we are a small team so Google Meet is our best option. We still use Zoom for webinars where there will be around 100 attendees and 2/3 speakers. For the day to …
Chose Google Meet
All of the above perform about the same. I would probably say that the audio and the video quality is probably superior to the other apps. Also, integration with other social media platforms is superior.
Chose Google Meet
I think it is the best option, personally. Zoom is a little more well known, I think but Google Hangouts Meet is so much more user friendly. As a company, we used to use Join.me, and I feel like it was glitchy and complicated to get clients on the platform. Google Hangouts Meet …
Chose Google Meet
Google Meet is about the same level of convenience and I use it like Skype and BlueJeans for my needs and my subscription levels. Zoom and Microsoft Teams (which we subscribe to as well) have much better features for our educational use cases like classrooms.
RingEX
Chose RingEX
From the user perspective, JustCall and Aircall gave you the ability to listen to the recorded call. RingEX's taking notes feature is great, just not 100% accurate. Therefore, I would say having the ability to access the recording calls in the user interface can be very useful. …
Chose RingEX
Nextiva's service did not always work. Calls sometimes did not come through or go out. Their customer service team was not quick at solving issues. The app was glitchy and did not always allow you to login. I have never had an issue like this with RingEX.
Chose RingEX
It had all what we wanted in a caller. The prices were reasonable and the service had been more or less at par. Never had a major issue with them and the call drops which we had couple of times were rectified within minutes so kudos to their support team.
Chose RingEX
RingEX provided the best call quality and had the features we needed. Google Voice doesn't have Hawaii (808) numbers, so they weren't a good fit for our business. That may change with their recent overhaul of that service offering. Grasshopper was terrible. Easy to set up, …
Chose RingEX
I think their desktop client is much more reliable. I wasn't too happy with 8x8 as it used Adobe Air and constantly asked me to update Adobe Air when I opened the program. Very annoying. I had to update Adobe Air and 8x8 as well. If I tried to update the client it would …

Chose Zoom Workplace
I prefer Zoom as AI Companion is included at no extra cost, therefore can be used at a larger scale by the organization.
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom Workplace has more features but the fact I need a paid plan for recording and or 1 hour meetings vs Meet being included in my Zoom Workplace plan
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom Workplace is more of robust program, however I have found the alternatives to be good as well at no or much less of a cost.
Chose Zoom Workplace
Again, I think Zoom is easier to use, offers more features, and has much better video and audio quality than its competitors. We were able to consolidate tools with Zoom and remain in compliance with our internal security policies. It is also just super easy to use.
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom is the mothership of all meeting products. It has stood the test of time through Covid, and all the other platforms are constantly playing catch-up, with features like backgrounds, filters, audio settings, captions, and transcripts. It's great to be able to move camera …

Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom has the easiest screensharing. In-call messaging is similar across all platforms. Both Zoom and Teams capture in-call chats, which is very helpful if something was missed on the call, you can go back and find the message. Chime is the most challenging to use, but this …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Battle tested + Popular brand "Zoom", in a nutshell. While MS teams and WebEx are popular in the corporate world, it is Zoom Workplace that has a much broader and overall appeal. Jitsi Meet seems to have the least recall (overall) so far. And given the marginal price …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Ultimately it comes down to Zoom Workplace being more intuitive, the layout of the various buttons such as chat, sharing screen etc
Chose Zoom Workplace
I did not choose Zoom Workplace, my company did.
Chose Zoom Workplace
I wasn't involved in the decision. Overall, I find the user interface better than the alternatives, and the video quality better. I haven't reviewed the differences between platforms in a while. I've personally been a Zoom Workplace user since 2016.

If you have a small team, use Google Meet. If you want to have a weekly check-up, use Google Meet. If you want to do a small hosting of conferences — kind of like a webinar, I would say to be very specific — Google Meet is really, really good. So that’s what my recommendations are.

RingCentral
RingCentral is generally good for business calls, as its mobile features, combined with landline office options, are great for communication on the go. It is also an affordable option to have a mobile cellular device if you have a lot of staff. Setup especially for multilevel authorization can be a hassle but it works well if well set up, you would have to get help in rectifying this if not calls might be redirected to the wrong extensions and changing it is not very straight forward.

Cons
Google
  • One of the challenges that I see is that whenever we have in a meeting, we won't be able to drop some of the documents that we have. That's one of the big challenges which I see in Google Meet. At that point of time, we either have to Slack or we have to share an email. We cannot do that, like sending that particular document in the Google meet chat.

Zoom has among the best performance of any video conference platform, as I've mentioned several times. Besides that, their Chat platform works great, and their back end always runs smooth. It's unfortunate that reporting can now only be done by one month at a time, but nonetheless, it only takes a second to run any kind of Zoom report, whether it's an attendee report, Poll results, a user report, a list of meetings from the past month, etc.

Google does a great job of providing tech support for this product, as it does many others. Similarly, Google has FAQs that cover a large amount of issues faced by users. Call-in support is fantastic. I have never called in and had it taken more than 30 minutes to resolve our issue. Email support is terrible. You will likely go 24+ hours until you hear back and the response is likely a canned one. I personally prefer the email or chat support option, but find myself calling instead because the email support experience is so poor.

After testing and configuration is completed, then roll over the main phone numbers to the new RingEX system. I've seen one person who immediately flipped over to RingEX without properly configuring/testing the software and had many issues with missed customer calls until I helped him sort out his configuration.

Teams do not stack up to Zoom at all. My clients use Teamas because it is a corporate policy, and they use it most of the time between employees of the same company. It makes sense for this, NOT for me. We have 75 users and 85 phones on the system and have yet to have any noticeable outages. The system just works all of the time without issues. Our old VOIP system on Voyant would go out all the time for multiple hours. RingEX is much more stable and reliable.

Because the Basic licenses are completely free, and because it's very easy to configure and install Zoom, and because anyone can join Zoom from a link without needing an account, scaling is a Breeze. There are absolutely no roadblocks. My company keeps adding more Zoom Pro license every week since it's so in demand. We were able to convert users from several different platforms onto Zoom with no trouble at all.

This is very good in the professional services as I started using this first for the professional service only. While using this Google Meet itself gives a professional feel as the UI works in a professional way. The video background modification, multi-screen feature, and some other features help in professional service.

Zoom is perfect for our business. We use it to video chat with prospective clients. The name recognition alone gives us credibility and it is very easy to screen share and send content out.

  • Negative: on each webinar someone from our team had to write manually the people that were participating and after that matching it with the registered people list. We wasted time. It could be easily resolved by adding the export list feature
  • Positive: Collaboration and internal meetings. Calendar integration helps us save time.

  • Enhanced patient accountability, we can track all calls - incoming and outgoing - patients tend to state that they called and left a message, but they either never called or did not leave a message. With RingEX, we can track whether they really did. It saves us quite a bit of time and aggravation.
  • Faxing is more accurate and usually very quick. Because it's accurate, it saves us time with phone calls about faxes we never received and having to refax items. Also, faxing via the system instead of printing and scanning is a time-saver.

  • We are still early in our adoption of Zoom Workplace for business, so we don't really have any data to show cost savings.
  • The ability to take a call summary or meeting summary and add it to our practice management system have been remarkable. It's a quick copy/paste and it's in the system. Prior to this, we would have to scan in notes and save them into the system, if it even got that far. Mostly, attorneys would be searching through legal pads for the notes of a previous meeting or phone call.
