Chose Oracle Dyn Web Application Security Platform
I already put this in earlier, but to repeat - they were easier to work with, more technically capable and knowledgeable and not just trying to sell us on something. Their willingness to solve for our problems and work with us made them the clear winner.
I recommend it as a WAF, but not as a CDN. There are better CDNs, in my case I use transparentCDN (now www.transparentedge.eu) and Edgecast (now Verizon CDN).
Their technical team is great, their portal is easily the best of those I have reviewed it against (including Akamai, CloudFlare, and Imperva), and they are a dedicated technology partner through and through.
CDN functionalities are secondary and cannot be compared to a top-level CDN.
The WebGUI interface of the dashboard is very improvable. They have been changing the UX for years and it is disjointed and with services that have not yet been migrated.
The analysis of WAF attack logs is insufficient. It is difficult to analyze attacks of past hours, event filters are missing. It is complicated to analyze the chronology of an attack.
There are extra modules to improve the attack logs analysis but they are expensive and add little.
After several years involved with the issue of cyber security and having been very close with distributed denial of service attacks, having used several companies to protect our applications, I decided to opt for Oracle Dyn Web Application Security Platform. Definitely, Oracle Dyn gives my organization the protection we need for our critical applications, far away from the other companies that offer similar services.
