What is IBM watsonx Assistant?

IBM watsonx Assistant is a conversational AI solution designed to build AI assistants that scale across a business, while providing customers and employees with fast, consistent and accurate answers across any messaging platform, application, device or channel. Using generative AI and natural language understanding, Assistant learns from customer conversations, improving its ability to resolve issues the first time while removing the frustration of long wait times, tedious searches and unhelpful chatbots.

Most chatbots try to mimic human interactions, frustrating customers when a misunderstanding arises. IBM watsonx Assistant gives users tools to build AI-assistants designed to know when to search for an answer from a knowledge base, when to ask for clarity and when to direct users to a human agent for more assistance. The only negative thing is the interface, because it takes sometime for our employees to start using the platform. We previously used drag and drop tools, but since it required some knowledge on programming and Machine learning, we can't start using the platform instantly, and it has taken us about 3 months to deploy our first virtual agent.

I believe that it does everything a free chatbot should do and the fact that it is from IBM so there is no question on data leaks or privacy. There is full control given and the tutorials are also great which help you get started right away. Easy to make and use and so I gave it a 8 but yes again for large scale enterprises this might not be a go to tool considering it's free subscription has no SMS or push enabled and has a limit. Also its has good prompt accuracy, hence I have rated it high

This is something I already mentioned, but the usability is fine, is very friendly and easy to learn, however it's for people who knows about technology. It's not for everyone. It's not that simple to train people who don't understand about this type of things. For sure is possible but is not easy. Other than that, people well technologically positioned will be completely fine with this service.

Easy to deploy, well crafted workflows that can be integrated with production environment in no time, an innovative solution that can be published quickly and can be integrated with WhatsApp and have those ready in a matter of hours ( if you have the expertise) is remarkable, the documentation is also really good

When working at a technology company, looking after customer service and managing client relations are hard tasks when your client count goes up. IBM Watson Assistant, ultimately, did overcome the barrier and can easily handle large amounts of data. Its quick and accurate responses don't disappoint the clients. The only thing that makers have to look at is its price. Small companies likely can't handle the proposed price.

It is possible to implement simple intentions independently, for more complex ones it is better to rely on the expert (in our case the supplier is very fast and competent). Training is very simple, fast and intuitive. The greatest difficulty is to make certain words in Italian understood or pronounced correctly

IBM Watson assistant has come a long way in last few years, and is handling the generative AI chatbot building really well. It is of immense importance to sales strategists like me who are average in coding but have real world cases of lead qualification for sales.
IBM Watson is also very intuitively designed with the amazing drag and drop feature. Testing is easy, deployment is pretty straightforward. I could have worked with a little more sales support, but then the whole point of making a conversational AI chatbot is to reduce the sales support intervention - so I guess I will live with that.

As I said many times that it is well integrated with BMC Helix platform. And now many organizations are using BMC Helix for handling tickets. As now a days AI conversational is in market now and then the count is increasing and the features which users required is efficiently handled by IBM Watson [Assistant].

Major reason for rating this tool so high is due to its balance between both customer need and business objective are well balance. The use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning is highly taken in consideration. Also the interactive User Interface is very smooth.

This tool has the ability to learn on the go which can resolve many customer issues.

The platform is highly impressive, very easy, straightforward and organized to build simple dialogs of questions and answers. However, one major drawback of the system is its inability to incorporate hard coding in a programming language. This limitation may prove to be a significant letdown for users who require more advanced customization and flexibility in their conversational agents. Nevertheless, overall, IBM Watson Assistant is a valuable tool for those seeking an efficient and intuitive conversational AI platform, hence the rating of 9.

I am generally satisfied with IBM Watson Assistant, and I strongly believe it delivers on its promises. The outcomes are seen so quickly if the virtual assistant is implemented in a way that allows for AI to power self-learning, crawl web FAQs, and integrate with search options as well as telephony and incident management systems. There is still room for improvement, as described in the previous section, in things that need to be available to make IBM Watson Assistant the go-to-market leader for customer care with cognitive assistants.

It would be easier if there was a native way to integrate with messaging apps like Telegram or Whatsapp, or a mobile version of the WA. You must use an external solution to obtain more complete analytical data. A native theme editor on the WA canvas with more formatting options will be most welcome.
