LeadLander is a powerful tool that provides sales reps with relevant data about website visits at various levels - regional, company, and lead. With access to information such as contact details, pages visited, frequency, and duration, sales teams gain valuable insights that help them tailor their approach and messaging to leads. By identifying which companies or accounts are visiting the website and which pages they review, LeadLander allows sales teams to track website visitors and understand their areas of interest. This knowledge empowers them to prompt follow-ups from the business development department by sending email notifications for website hits. Moreover, LeadLander provides demographic insights into website visitors, validating outbound efforts by determining if customers are engaging with emails or visiting the website. Users also benefit from LeadLander's ability to identify businesses showing interest in the product, assisting in determining the direction for calling potential consumers. Overall, LeadLander is an invaluable tool that enhances sales productivity by providing actionable insights derived from website visitor data.

Intuitive Design and Ease of Use: Many users have praised Leadlander for its intuitively designed interface, which they find easy to navigate and use. They appreciate the user-friendly layout and intuitive features that make it simple to access the desired information.

Customizable Functionality: Users value Leadlander's customizable functionality at regional, company, and lead levels. This allows them to tailor their contact strategies based on the specific interests shown by prospects. The ability to customize their approach enhances their effectiveness in engaging with potential leads.

Multiple Reports and Robust Search Capabilities: Users highly appreciate the availability of multiple reports within Leadlander. These reports provide valuable insights into website visitors, helping users identify potential customers or areas for improvement. Additionally, Leadlander's robust search capabilities enable users to efficiently locate specific data points or filter results based on their criteria.

Confusing and difficult settings: Some users have found the tool's settings to be perplexing and challenging to navigate, especially when attempting to tailor them for specific accounts. For example, the options may not be clearly labeled or organized in an intuitive manner, leading to confusion.

Overwhelming default email frequency: According to user feedback, the tool inundates users with too many daily emails by default, which can quickly become overwhelming until they customize the settings. This flood of emails can make it difficult for users to prioritize and respond promptly, potentially impacting their ability to stay on top of important tasks.

Not suitable for ongoing deals: Several reviewers have mentioned that the tool is better suited for outbound business or sales development reps who primarily focus on generating new opportunities rather than managing ongoing deals. The features and functionalities may not be optimized for dealing with complex deal lifecycles or providing comprehensive support throughout long-term customer relationships.

Based on user reviews, LeadLander receives several recommendations:

  1. Users suggest trying the trial version of LeadLander before making a decision. This allows them to assess whether it meets their requirements and provides the desired value.

  2. Many users recommend LeadLander for companies that prioritize quality leads over quantity. By focusing on high-quality leads, businesses can increase their chances of conversion and sales.

  3. LeadLander is highly endorsed by users for its ability to provide valuable insights and analyses that can attract better clients. This knowledge helps businesses sell more products or services effectively.

Leadlander is being used by the Marketing Department at ABILITY. Most specifically, the Analytics Department and the market managers who set the strategy for each line of business that we serve. The problem it addresses for us is letting us know which companies or accounts we are marketing to are visiting our website.
  • Multiple reports.
  • Good search capabilities.
  • Easy to sort results.
  • Be able to see the people in addition to the accounts.
  • Integrate with our tech stack (it may but it's not a feature I am currently aware of).
  • Better matching of IP addresses.
Lead Lander is great for an organization that is trying to get a better handle on who is visiting their website. Not just the website in general but you can look to see who is visiting each page within a site. This is beneficial when using the data to make digital marketing decisions, especially PPC.
  • Custom reports.
  • Multiple sorting options.
  • Future integration with other technologies.
  • It has greatly helped out Analytics Team by taking a close look at who is visiting our website.
  • Our market managers have been able to use this when setting digital marketing strategies in their specific market.
  • The only negative is that, with the subscription we have, we are unable to connect contacts with web visitors, only accounts.
LeadLander and Hot Jar don't necessarily compete against one another but they work well together. LeadLander lets us know what companies are visiting our site and Hot Jar tells us what those people do when they get to the site. Together we can make better decisions on how to find more visitors and get them to come to our site as well as how to optimize the pages on the site to provide a better experience for those visitors.

LeadLander provides a simple and intuitive way for sales reps to receive relevant data pertaining to website visits at regional, company, and even lead levels. Often the information provided includes varying levels of contact information when available along with pages visited, frequency and duration, enabling insights that can help determine how to approach leads with relevant messaging in a timely manner.
  • Lead information is intuitively delivered to email inboxes either daily or in real time based on user preferences.
  • Insights shared give a link to pages viewed to increase accuracy in crafting follow-up messaging.
  • Functionality is customizable to regional, company, and lead levels, enabling various levels of contact based on the type of interest being shown.
  • The tool is fairly simplistic, and the settings error on the side of sending you too much information by default, which is better than not enough, but can initially turn into way too many daily email until settings are tailored. The settings are not the easiest to navigate if you're looking to tailor based on specific accounts. The default options are more easily tailored to regional settings, but can be more tightly defined with care/assistance.
  • If email frequency is not paired down, the likelihood of responding in a timely manner decreases because the alerts are taken less seriously. My recommendation would be to receive a daily digest of leads rather than real-time unless the users are pure outbound business/sales development reps who are not working deals beyond opportunity creation.
  • The tool has a tendency to become set and forget, but should ultimately be updated each time a territory experiences changes.
LeadLander is great for sales reps who are looking for additional insights when attempting to get the right message to the right audience at the right time via the right medium. Nevertheless, the tool is basically fairly simplistic in terms of what you get. Data is delivered via email and can be tailored in terms of frequency and territory, but the overall information presented is fairly simple. The links to websites visited and accompanying information pertaining to frequency and duration are incredibly helpful. Nevertheless, if you have a lot of users visiting sites that utilize a free version of your tool, care is required to ensure that your messaging is not falling on deaf ears. Overall, the tool is very useful for accomplishing awareness of baseline insights pertaining to prospective clientele visiting your company's website in order to craft more meaningful messaging.
  • The tool is fairly simplistic in what it accomplishes
  • The tool requires careful tuning in order to be tailored to specific accounts. It is possible that they have already addressed this issue, but the last time that I checked about 1-2 months ago, the methodology was still not very simple beyond mere regional settings.
  • The tool can tend to update you too frequently by default unless settings are tuned to involve fewer notifications.
We use a number of other prospecting tools, but none that scrape website attendance information.

We utilize LeadLander for our sales team. The product allows us to know who visited our website, where they came from (i.e. Google) and what pages were reviewed. This lets us know if we reached the leads contacted and customers that might have questions. Without LeadLander, we would be blind to the traffic that comes from our website.
  • Leadlander has an excellent database of IP addresses. Often the address is registered to some unknown cable company but leadlander seems to identify them.
  • Leadlander is well designed and intuitive to use.
  • Leadlander captures page data and referral that we wouldn't otherwise have.
  • Frequently, the IP address goes to a cable or internet company.
  • The personal view from a phone doesn't register to that person or company making it difficult to know the company.
  • Many of the people that come to our website are not likely prospects and we end up chasing bad leads.
There are so many products available that provide this service but we have yet to get rid of Leadlander. The primary reason is you want to know who is visiting your website, how did they get there and what pages they viewed. If you are an inside or outside sales rep, you'll know if your leads are curious about your product. You'll know if your customers are reviewing the website, perhaps something is going wrong. However, if you already have HubSpot or some of the other marketing tools out there, you may not need this solution.
  • We have won many new customers that visited our website but didn't request a demonstration. Therefore, the return is at least two or three customers a year.
  • I often chase after business that is not a good fit for our product. Many companies are too small or use the wrong platform for our solution.
  • Frequently, we receive prospective leads that can't be identified.
  • It's a great way to come up with new companies that perhaps you didn't think about as leads.
Both Pardot and Drift have web page lookup but they don't have the catalog of IP addresses that Leadlander provides. We have been using LeadLander for so long, my boss is afraid to give it up. Unfortunately, we haven't tried either of the other two products for this purpose but from what I've seen, I think LeadLander compares favorably.

LeadLander provides insight into determining what type of demographic visits our website. It also validates our outbound efforts to determine whether or not certain customers are reading our emails or visiting our website. Our entire sales department, both inside and outside use LeadLander.
  • Geolocates where customers are visiting from
  • Provides insight into what company is visiting
  • Tells our company what pages the prospect visited
  • Does not provide information as to what employee is visiting
  • Geolocation is not always accurate
LeadLander enhances the outbound marketing automation efforts by showing you which website visitors are responding to outbound emails and campaigns. LeadLander is well suited for any company that wants to insight and analytics into website hits.
  • Personally, I cannot say LeadLander has had a positive ROI. While it provides insight into what companies visit our website, it does not specifically say who - therefore we cannot target which specific employees from that company are visiting our website.
  • LeadLander does help validate which prospects are receptive to our outbound marketing campaigns and emails.
  • ActOn
ActOn also provides website analytics, however if we have a contact in our CRM - it will tell us each morning if that specific contact visited our website rather than just a company name. It is interesting to note that both ActOn and Leadlander often have different results and companies. I'm not sure why there is a discrepancy, however overall, both tools are fairly comparable.
