We utilize cloud hosting through Non Profit Technologies and love how it allows us to access our information from anywhere with an internet connection. There is some setup involved on the computer, tablet or laptop that you'll be using, but once this is worked out, it is very easy to use from anywhere.

The greatest choice you'll ever make!!
Partnering with MIP and using MIP Advance Fund Accounting software has allowed us to move to the next level as we become more complex. We have nine lines of business and MIP Advance allows us the opportunity to evaluate each line of business for productivity, efficiency and effectiveness. Without these tools, we would be floundering in the dark.

We have tried to utilize their help on projects but our attempts have been unsuccessful. For example, we were looking to automate our cost allocation of our fringe benefits and Ziegner was not able to come up with a solution. Later on, an internal employee suggested a fix that was not suggested by Ziegner that solved our issue.

I so not recommend Abila MIP Fund Accounting
We can't afford a partner. The closest is hundreds of miles away. The cost is prohibitive. There is literally no support for this product. It was clearly not set up properly by the consultant that we previously used. There are no preconfigured financial statement templates. There are no manuals. The help function is virtually useless. I've had to teach myself by trial and error. I hate this product.

How MIP fund accounting works for us
Our company has used many MIP software, but so far MIP Fund Accounting as been the best. The support that MIP provides has been helpful, they are quick in their replies and keep you informed as they are working through the issue at hand. You have a few different opinions in contacting MIP for help. You also have access to a forum that allows you to provide your input on what is working and what doesn't.
