Okta Identity Cloud is Perfect for SSO integrations, Easy and supported by most of the vendors. Also they are supporting Auth zero and fastpass, passwordless login which again helping organizations in staying ahead in the game. They are providing several such features which would help securing Okta tenant in all ways.

It works, but . . .
It replaces a legacy single-signon system, but I miss those features. Having to re-login multiple times per day is annoying. I'm sure the other problems may be caused by our own settings.

For instance, while uploading hours worth of online learning content into our LMS, my session will sometimes timeout during a "save" operation, and I have to start over.

It is excellent to leverage for daily use on my desktop to access the applications I need to do my job.

Its well suited for companies that have several apps that are used daily across the org to save time from typing passwords as well as remembering them. It saves me time personally not having to remember passwords for the half dozen apps i use daily

when thew company uses a lot of different sites/apps and need to authenticate on all of them Okta is a tool that would facilitate the access to the different sites/apps. When the company doesn't have a lot of things to access I don't see a need to add Okta to the company, but it still a good security tool.

Okta is great for single sign on, and it can be performed in many ways on most device types.

Okta's workflow management is a strength allowing a single tool for both sign on, and license management.

Okta might not be a great fit for organizations that are cost sensitive, or don't have the staff to manage complex licensing implications.

OKTA does well with base functionality like Single Sign On and App assignment and provisioning. In addition, its device trust feature is a strong add-on as it's relatively easy to set up and gives good security around trusted workstations and mobile devices.

When you have hundred of application is nice to have the possibility to organise them in sections. I like the way I can organise my tiles in sections so I am able to access to my tile app very quickly. I feel good with Okta so I cannot make a compare with other similar tools. I have used Citrix in the past. I think Okta looks better.

We have been extremely pleased with how Okta has increased our security posture. We had an immediate need to implement MFA for our organization. We have over 30 companies under our umbrella and we were able to implement Okta in a short time with relative ease. As you can imagine, having that many companies offers unique challenges because each company isn't a carbon copy of the others. Okta offered us the granularity needed to tailor the implementation for all of our lines of business. We have a relatively small IT Department for the number of companies/employees we have. Despite the limited resources in IT, we are able to get Okta going quickly and have been very pleased with the software.

The Okta Identity Cloud Workforce Identity is very reliable solution to manage identities especially in terms of security. It helps us to lessen the work of help desk admin as well as us IAM Admin. The only thing I hate with The Okta Identity Cloud is that the support engineer are delaying the issues like they are not available or sometimes no align internally.

Well suited in providing end users a clean UI and clear use cases. Less appropriate in providing clear usage reports on app access and audit logs - the UX on reports is cumbersome

The Okta Identity Cloud is great integrating with other platforms and directories. It also offers great flexibility and scalabilities for companies of any sizes. It is definitely a great solution as a single sign on service. The Okta Identity Cloud might not be recommended if a company has limited resources and is looking for a more budget friendly alternative.

It's very easy to access sales tools like Clari and Salesforce. Being able to access both easily from the same tile page makes a workflow for forecasting much more seamless and efficient. The ability to log in from a single sign-on outside of just those tabs also helps a lot.

I would definitely suggest this tool to my colleagues. When it comes to single sign to integrate all our applications under one umbrella, this will be the tool to go for sure. In our company, when we were moving our applications to the cloud one by one, we wanted one tool that could serve as a platform for all the applications with one password and with enhanced multi factor authentication and we choose The Okta Identity Cloud.
When it comes to SAP, integration with The Okta Identity Cloud was a little tedious.

Okta is best set for businesses with multiple Saas applications and resources that will allow users to have streamlined access to the different resources without having to log in to each and every application. The downside of Okta is the ability to have personalization across the different resources, but this really won't hamper the everyday business user.

I feel like The Okta Identity Cloud is the gold-standard for identity verification and multi-factor authentication. Any organization looking to bolster the security of their infrastructure should consider integrating these additional layers of protection into their protocols. The end user experience is relatively seamless, with an easy-to-use app that provides multiple options for multi-factor authentication.

Okta is the perfect solution once the company has grown to have a tech stack comprising more than 10 applications across at least 20 employees. It makes onboarding and off-boarding nearly seamless and makes it easy for the employee to know where/how to log in to required systems.

For smaller companies without a sophisticated IT team I could Okta being a bit too much to manage to start.

Perfect for big and articulated project, too complex for small and fast project

While I can't speak to the pricing, Okta is pretty user-friendly overall and convenient in managing the provisioning of users and viewing and accessing your commonly used work apps. I also trust that the level of security is strong, minimizing risk.

Based on my experience the Okta Identity Cloud is well suited for larger corporations with a variety of tools. It helps to add the tools to the portfolio while maintaining a level of cyber security and helping with SSO so the users do not have to remember many passwords.
For smaller corporations or Startups it might be too much.

This product has been in our enterprise for a while and new features are always welcome. Some other SIEM products in the market do offer additional features that Okta Identity Cloud can provide as well.

Organisations requiring more custom rules for access, specifically non Microsoft organisations. Having said this it can integrate with Microsoft as well.

Okta Identity Cloud is ideal for any company with multiple users who are looking for an easy way to manage company apps and sign into them with ease. It's a great tool for any company, no matter the size. I used Okta before coming to my current company, and the previous company in mention was much smaller in scale.

The Okta Identity Cloud is in my opinion the premier tool for providing MFA to your workforce. Extremely easy to setup, standards based, stable, and a lot of user self setup/self help features. Makes managing user identify and disparate directories much more simple. Less appropriate for providing a true application portal experience for users as it's integrations in that area are mostly for cloud-based applications and not on-prem systems.

Appropriate to: integration in a heterogeneous environment, where threre's multiples system, OS' and roles that need to be setup. Okta works well with multiples OS and guarantee standarization of all these softwares in a unique and easy interface. Okta is also good for startups and medium size company, because besides being expensive you can balance this high cost with a basic IT team, due to the easyness of the software.

Not appropriate to: companies that relies strongly in solutions of a single supplier, like Microsoft or Google. In these scenarios, will be chepear and faster to the inherit SSO solution.
