- Moving to e-sign documents has reduced paper and the time it takes to process a hire.
- The notifications and electronic approval features also reduces the time to make an offer.

- I think one of the most positive impacts has been our value proposition we offer our customers. It has allowed us to be more consistent in our responses to them. It has made us better at recruiting by enhancing the recruiters ability to reach more candidates quicker and keep better track of skills, training, education and experience. It has made us a better employer by insuring we are following our procedures from start to finish each and every time.
- Additional we feel there have been incremental positive impacts on our investment. Over time as SmartSearch has created new features and has integrated with other systems and products we have seen the productivity of our recruiting staff increase. This became increasingly apparent when email templates, document, templates and docu-sign were integrated into the system. we probably saved thousands of dollars a year just in document costs alone. Allowing recruiter contact candidates and employees via text messaging through Zipwhip. Creating texts and emails that can be automated eliminates the need for numerous 'reminder' phone calls. Now these messages show up on employee or candidate phone in second without the recruiter having to stop what they are doing to place a series of phone calls or emails. These incremental enhancements to our business add up.
SmartSearch is Great and a True Business Partner
- That's easy - they have helped us grown and make more money. The core element of their technology (e.g. the ability to search for, identify and contact candidates is excellent).
- They are a business partner and do their very best to help us succeed.
- Initially it was great by providing the capability to work with candidates on line but this year in particular SmartSearch has demonstrably hurt our business because the job postings don't work as intended. As an example, we have currently waited eleven weeks for a fix to the job postings not going out to Zip Recruiter and we are still waiting.
- The cost of learning and developing reports has also been high. The built in reports are very limited and the report writer is difficult to learn and use.
Great ATS!
- I am not involved in the budgeting or finance for recruiting software, so cannot speak directly to any numbers for ROI. However, SmartSearch personally saves me several hours a day in organizing candidates, thus saving my company substantial amounts in productivity.
- The lacking ability to tag additional recruiters throughout the hire track process means whoever onboards the hire has to ensure that a "split" is marked when completing the NHS. Failure to do so can result in quite a lot of lost time from HR to get the mistake fixed.
