Overall Satisfaction with Act-On
We have integrated Act-On into SugarCRM and are doing a better job of organizing, scoring and managing our leads. We are also utilizing the email programs to help with our customer communications.
- Act-On has a full suite of services and tools to effectively and efficiently manage your marketing activities. It is a great resource for small and mid sized companies that do not need and/or can not afford big expensive enterprise systems.
- The email template library is thin. They should have more templates for the most frequent communications already loaded in the library. No need to recreate the wheel - show me what is proven to work and let me customize as needed to support my business and communication objectives.
- While they have a lot of great capabilities, overall they do a poor job of providing recommendations and benchmark solutions. Everything can be customized to your needs but sometimes you just want solid solutions and proven programs for reference.
- We are doing a better job managing our leads. We still have some work to do with our CRM integration and workflows but we are off to a solid start.
I have used large enterprise solutions which can be very valuable but often times never get fully implemented or utilized due to the complexity of data and technical integration issues. Act-On has a powerful backend but it is scalable so you can start small and grow. I have an excellent customer support manager who really helps us with our Act-On marketing efforts.
