Overall Satisfaction with ActivTrak
We are a management service organization. Prior to the pandemic, all positions were physically onsite at our corporate offices. With the pandemic, we were forced to transition to a virtual environment. When working in a physical environment, it was easy to identify top performers and busy team members. When our organization transitioned to virtual, we were unable to gauge performance or productivity nor could we continue to identify those that were outperforming peers. We implemented ActivTrak to allow transparency of our virtual team members and identify those who outperformed their peers.
Pros
- ActivTrak provides a dashboard to allow us to quickly gauge performance across a dept or group of users.
- ActivTrak also provides a method to quickly identify worked hours to identify those putting in extra time
- ActivTrak report log is very useful when a team member is experiencing issues
Cons
- The application is very easy to use however I would like to see improvement in refresh rates and configuration changes. It seems a bit sluggish
- ActivTrak has been very useful by helping us identify team members who were struggling remotely. It allowed us to provide added coaching and training.
- ActivTrak in our environment has allowed us to better coach our team members which [has led] to better engagement by both employee and manager. This in turn has reduced turnover.
- The dashboard is one of my favorite tools. It allows us to group team members and compare productivity. It has allowed visibility to performance issues which have helped us identify coaching opportunities.

ActivTrak did not require very much configuration. It was pretty much ready to go. Work-IT required months of configuration and planning and was very costly.
