Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

We use Acumatica for Manufacturing custom systems. The product allows us to carefully track our inventory use and helps to standardize parts in some cases.
  • The flow from quote to sales order to shipment to invoice is very easy
  • Expenses are easy to enter
  • Production orders are a very powerful tool for item creation
  • Nothing can be backed out easily in case of errors
  • Paperwork for shipping doesn't always show all information needed
  • Credit card processing is not great
  • We now know exactly how much time and materials are going into our projects, whereas we were guessing before.

We have detailed BOM tracking now, so we can see exactly what parts went into each customer's item.
We use the manufacturing module to have greater control over BOMs and as built items.
We have not used ERP previously.

Acumatica is great for manufacturing simple items but struggles in cases where the items produced are complex and user error is more common. Forms need a lot of customization to be usable. Inventory tracking is extremely helpful.
