Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
It is, well it's in the process of becoming the backbone of our company. From an ERP standpoint, migrating and integrating all our separate disparate systems into one platform to manage our finances and everything together.
- Like I said, integrating with other applications, being able to use best-in-class tools no matter what you're looking at, whether it's an MES platform and integrating it with Acumatica or if it's a sales and use tax aspect. If you want to use it, it's up to you and it's your flexibility.
- I would say some of the connectors that are out of the box have the ability to be more in-depth. One example, specifically with Avalara, being able to drive use tax calculations through the software, and if I use inventory automatically capturing that and developing that for reporting into Avalara isn't already out of the box, which to me is something standard that should be there.
- I haven't seen it at this point have a positive ROI as far as our business objectives go, but it has created more visibility and we're looking forward to the impact that that's going to have.

To me, the thing that I see is breaking down silos within the organization and being able to integrate automated workflows and have it seamlessly working. So departments are actually working together more effectively and efficiently.
Well, our company is quite unique in that the progress that Acumatica has made in its product line from a software platform is very similar to how we started. We started in construction, we did construction industry, we build roof trusses and we've migrated there to more of a manufacturing environment and now we're looking at how can we get to that distribution angle. So the exact product development timeline falls in line with exactly what we're looking in the middle of doing.
So when we looked at our ERP systems, we looked at Epicor, we looked at Sage, we looked at SAP. There are a couple of versions of SAP, but that wasn't something we were going to consider and there were a couple of other products that didn't fit our security infrastructure framework that just got kicked out as well. We're with you guys. That describes it all. That's why we're here.
