Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

I mainly use the Adobe Acrobat platform while working with contracts. Specifically, in addition to the Reader function, I edit scripting as well as attach signatures and commentary on signed counter party provided contracts that need to be edited before further processing is needed as part of the contract management process.
  • Editing scanned documents.
  • Pulling text from individual documents.
  • AI application.
  • Natural language extraction in volume.
  • Contract lifecycle management.
  • Editing
  • Manipulation
  • Text extraction.
  • Ease of Use
Adobe Acrobat professional document platform is relatively easy to use once you learn the functions of the different buttons and ribbons on the sidebars of the UI. Once that is known, it's pretty intuitive, making UX something easier and pleasurable and UI almost nonexistent to be taught. This is Adobe's greatest strength.
  • Able to manipulate contracts without having to redo them completely.
  • Text extraction by individuals.
  • In added cost in addition to a separate documents management platform.
I must be honest, in an era where it seems the IT security of every platform except banks and investment firms is utterly hacked on the reg with the complete compromise of data and security integrity, I have not heard the same from or about Adobe and have learned of it ever happening to any system I have been using. Considering the nature and sensitivity of contracts - this is a plus!
Adobe has a monopoly on this corner of the industry - there is no competition.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

Adobe Acrobat professional document platform is at its best when working with individual documents, editing basic language text, and extracting for manipulation and insertion/reinsertion. Where Adobe Acrobat professional document platform comes up short is when attempting to do all of the above at scale and volume. Also, users using this function would like to be able to store and manage contracts in the same platform - an ecosystem (that doesn't exist).
