Adobe Acrobat DC is used to easily merge files to allow for ease and convenience. It is also helpful when making changes/edits between team members because we can easily highlight certain sections that need revisions. This helps to ensure a quality deliverable that will be submitted to various clients, team members, and stakeholders.

Pros

  • Ease of Tools

  • Ability to select text from locked PDFs
  • Drawing figures
  • Merging files
  • Compressing files
  • Editing text
  • Improved quality of work
  • Reduced errors
  • Increased collaborative efforts
I would give a rating of 9 because it is easy to understand and navigate. I think the function of some settings could be enhanced but overall I love that anyone can use the software without any complex training. It encourages simplicity and efficiency because it can be used in various work settings.
I would say that Adobe Acrobat DC is the easiest to use among Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator because it does not require any complex training or experience with the software beforehand. Similar to Microsoft Word, it is an easy-to-understand interface that can be used to complete the necessary tasks.

I would definitely recommend Adobe Acrobat DC to a colleague because it is easy to use and understand. When compiling documents for submission to a local municipality, we were able to showcase all of our findings in one convenient file. I like that we are able to do both landscape and portrait orientation.
