Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
ADP Workforce Now does have some training resources available, but my organization primarily used it as an HR platform. Within the ADP portal, employees could adjust tax withholdings, complete open enrollment, see tax documents, access paystubs, and more. All employees in the organization had access to this portal, and it allowed them to track down virtually all of their personal documents in one place.
Pros
- ADP Workforce Now is a one-stop-shop for virtually all human resources needs.
- Employees have ongoing access even after leaving the company.
- Workforce Now can act as a training platform.
Cons
- Not very easy to navigate. A lot of the menu options are similar to one another and features aren't always located where you'd expect to find them.
- ADP Workforce Now features automated reminders that lead to fewer missed deadlines, less HR headaches, and a positive ROI.
- ADP Workforce Now combines a bevy of HR functions that could otherwise require multiple software platforms, thereby reducing company cost and guaranteeing a positive ROI.
- ADP Workforce Now's self-service features allow employees to find the information they need and make changes to their benefits and tax withholding, resulting in fewer questions to HR. This eliminates unnecessary time sucks and saves company money.
My new organization outsources many HR functions to a local firm with its own employee portal. This portal has a slightly less attractive interface but functions mostly the same. My biggest issue is that a local portal of this nature has less technical support and is subject to more frequent outages. ADP is a larger company and can handle routine maintenance and technical issues on a faster basis.
