Use Cases and Deployment Scope

At Moxtek, the ADP Workforce Now is used for time clocking and payroll. We also use it for onboarding and data analysis. The issue that the company used to face is the reporting was done manually, and it was hard to track data. Now using Workforce Now has allowed for automating the process of reporting and is correct compared to the manual entry.

Adjustable payroll schedule or easier to add payroll.
Wage adjustments are made at the beginning of the pay period to be paid correctly.
Product code allocation could be improved so that timebank does not need to be used.

Return on Investment

It has helped keep labor within budget.

Scalability

I would like to see better tracking between product codes for employees that work in many different areas/projects. Timebank does not always function correctly, and manual entry in the G/L has to be completed. Tracking across departments is working correctly. It is just the product codes that the system seems to struggle with.

Currently, just benefits are being used.

We have not looked at integrating other systems with ADP other than the benefits.

Support Rating

There are times when you contact support and am told that it is getting escalated, but then there is no progress being made, or it was just dropped off from progressing. It seems to be somewhat better now with the portal to track and manage service tickets instead of always calling to follow up on an issue.

Likelihood to Recommend

Workforce Now is a great tool for any company of any size because you are able to customize the product to your needs. As long as training is done correctly the company is able to utilize the program to its full potential. When first starting to work for Moxtek they were unhappy with the product until I showed them what could be done with it when set up correctly.
