We use Airship to deliver targeted messages and surveys using email, push and in-app notifications to customer journey's and cohorts. Our messages deliver product information and marketing beneficial to customer satisfaction and retention.

The ability to synchronize our mobile notifications with email in multimedia delivery has simplified campaign execution while delivering improved customer engagement rates.
Frankly - We have not used this as often as we should...but this question has stimulated me to use this more.
