Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense

I use it mainly for competitive intelligence, keeping up with how our competitors are viewed by analysts, and developing market comps. I use the transcribed earnings calls and accompanying broker research to maintain our own internal assessments of our competitors. Most of this information is available elsewhere, but AlphaSense brings it all together into one searchable database.

  • The iPad app isn't the best experience.
  • Mainly efficiency.
The web app is generally easy to use.
I could get most of the same info from other sources, but it's since to bring it all together in one place.
I have used GlobalData before. It has better info on drug pipelines but didn't have as much broker research and was much more expensive.

Using AlphaSense

  • If there were was way to create landscape assessments from the clinical trials tracking, that would be useful.
For what we pay it's a good service, If the price increased substantially, I would need to reevaluate.
