Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense

We are able to efficiently search across the different documents/links/news articles and other sources to craft our understanding of both companies and industries. The thing that differentiates AlphaSense is that it helps us search across broker reports and company docs (like 10K, 8K), plus the search is AI-enabled. It is quite effective in searching synonyms and similar keywords.

Other search engines like Thomson Eikon, Reuters, and BamSEC are focused on one specific source and unlike them, AlphaSense's usability across the different sources makes it unique. It helps in making informed and crafted pages, as well as saves our analysts time across the different platforms. Also, the platform is quite user-friendly and intuitive.
The team is able to create a full list of companies/peer sets and track their latest developments across different sources like company news, broker reports, etc. This is what allows AlphaSense to improve the efficiency of our team members.
These databases are rather great at what they do. For example - MergerWare is great at M&A deals, BamSEC is great for company docs, etc. However, as an analyst, you have to craft information across these data sources which is what AlphaSense helps us with.

AlphaSesnse is well suited for conducting searches - the search function is AI-enabled and it helps to search synonyms and similar keywords. It is also well suited for creating profiles on the latest news reports and updates. Additionally, it is well suited for its linking and sourcing functions, which include highlighted links. Lastly, it is well suited for downloading Excel tables. AlphaSense is less suitable for industry reports.
