Overall Satisfaction with Alteryx

We use Alteryx for tax automation. We streamline processes that have multiple inputs, consolidate data and automate the calculation of complex tax adjustments. Alteryx has taken processes that used to take days to months of time down to minutes. We can now save time and reduce hours of manual labor while decreasing the rate of manual errors that come with a manual process. Team members spend less time on manual tasks and can now focus on value-add activities related to the tax provision and compliance processes.

  • A firm can benefit by using the server instead of purchasing tons of individual licenses so many can benefit from workflows created
  • The reporting tools are not as dynamic as an interface such a Power BI
  • Alteryx works well for applying logic across columns of data rather than one "cell" for example
  • With the ease of use we have been able to onboard entire teams in months and they are now creating their own workflows
  • We went from a process that took over 200 hours from prep to review down to 15!
Because Alteryx performs well with data so large it can't even be output into an excel file. it runs quickly, without error so long as the user creates the workflow that way. It works like any programmable application, it does as it's told. If you build in the correct logic, Alteryx will apply it to your data.

Alteryx is a great tool for data manipulation and transformation. It consolidates multiple inputs well whether thats in one workflow or a more complex workflow that can consolidate hundreds of files. The time savings using Alteryx is irreplaceable and has given team members tens to hundreds of hours back to focus on more value-added work. Taking manual processes and automating them has benefitted both the firm and end user.
