Overall Satisfaction with ApptioOne

We use ApptioOne as a cost allocation tool to provide insight into units costs at various levels of our IT Business. We use this to get to an Application TCO view where we can see the total cost composition of high cost apps in order to cut costs in redundant or under-utilized assets.
  • ApptioOne allocates costs very effectively and efficiently
  • ApptioOne provides OOTB reporting that provide a quick time to value
  • ApptioOne provides a platform that allows users to merge data and create custom views to gain insights
  • ApptioOne could improve in complexity as it is a very difficult tool to understand in my opinion.

ApptioOne is well suited for any IT organization that wants better insights into where the money is going, but it is not appropriate for smaller IT orgs where the value gained may not be greater than the cost in my opinion.
