Overall Satisfaction with Treasure Data
Treasure Data is used by our marketing department to keep track of key metrics that we value. For example, we monitor the number of monthly active users on our app, number of promotions that are sent out by our merchants, promotion claims, and also performance metrics of emails (so that we can see all of the email metrics in just once place). Treasure Data helps simplify our analytics.
- Ability to track many different performance metrics that are across multiple campaigns inside of Marketo.
- Centralizes the performance metrics of our product adoptions in one place so that we can see if product usage increases month over month.
- Ability to combine multiple different data sources so that we are able to have a full view of our funnel.
- Treasure Data requests someone to be able to write SQL which isn't applicable for everything.
- Data visualization could use some work in terms of the number of options for displaying data.
- We encounter bugs from time to time.
- Treasure Data is great when you're trying to understand as an organization how well you are trending towards your goals.
- Treasure Data saves a lot of time if you're trying to understand at a glimpse of how well certain marketing campaigns are performing.
- Treasure Data requires having to hire someone who costs more money to do the work for you.
- Tracking email deliverability issues across many set it and forget it campaigns.
- Tracking to see view through conversions from emails which are being accounted for inside of organic.
- Treasure data is great also for visualizing how NPS has changed over time.
Treasure Data was also chosen before I arrived at the organization. Also, I'm not person who's in charge or writing the queries which means that I let someone know what I need to use the software for and they let me know if Treasure Data is best suited. However, that being said, we also use Tableau to view the data because writing queries is not required.
