Overall Satisfaction with Atera

We're a small MSP that has been using a legacy management package for many years. We decided to make a change to Atera as a test and were so elated with the results that we migrated all of our managed systems to Atera. The ease of deployment, response of the agents, as well as integration of 3rd party apps, makes this a fantastic product.

  • Would like to be able to sort agent views alphabetically by machine name.
  • Positive ROI, especially vs. legacy RMM tools
This is definitely a simplified product vs. legacy RMM solutions. Easy to build agent groups to view by machine O/S, online, offline, customer location, etc. The agent can be installed via a URL sent directly to the customer or a command-line install on Win 10 and Win server machines that recognize curl commands.
This has increased our profit margins while allowing us to take on additional customers without an increase in our base expenses. This was not our experience with the legacy RMM solution we were using for years. Atera also charges month to month so you're not locked into any long-term contract. However, if you want to lower your costs even further; you can purchase a yearly subscription too.
Very well suited for a small to mid-sized MSP. It also has most (all that I need) of the features of the bigger players in the space with a cost that is well below. I like that you have unlimited agents and pay one fee. Extras, such as AV are sold on a per-seat basis, which makes cost control very simple.
