Overall Satisfaction with BetterCloud

BetterCloud is used in our IT organization to manage our G-Suite application. At first, I was skeptical about paying for a product instead of just using the Google Admin Panel that is free, but we've found BetterCloud to be so valuable that, although I have looked into saving money, we've always recognized that BetterCloud is well worth the investment!

Pros

  • BetterCloud allows delegation management, where Google Admin does not.
  • The ability to centrally manage signatures is awesome.
  • Amazingly, BetterCloud is so much easier to use than the native Google Admin.

Cons

  • Loading the app is at times a bit slow.
  • When adding delegates it seems there are redundant steps. You click add, then you have to submit and save... this could be done with one motion.
  • BetterCloud has enabled us to keep our IT staff smaller and be more efficient with our admin time.
  • Having a universal signature has allowed our marketing team to really keep our brand clean and consistent
  • The delegation tools it provides have streamlined how our departments can collaborate and cover for those on vacation.
BetterCloud has proven way more efficient than the native Google Admin application. It has saved us from having to perform custom programming for delegation admin tasks, and has been the best admin suite we have used to date.
If you administer a G-Suite environment and need to use delegation, it is a must! Also, managing signatures centrally is very convenient. However, if your G-suite environment is small or very simple, it may not be worth the investment to look into a better cloud, as you may be able to use the Google Admin.
