Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce
We use BigCommerce at Crate Insider to sell race car parts. As an ecommerce platform, it is exactly what we need in order to sell effectively online. The software has also been able to scale with us as we've grown from 30 products to over 650 with thousands of SKUs. One of the most important aspects has been the ability to have real time shipping quotes from day 1.

$500,000 to $1 million
We use the open APIs on the BigCommerce platform to gather sales information that updates to our email list so that we can offer customized experiences for our customers. We're still a small company, but this is a feature we plan to utilize more in the future. We also use the social media integrations to deliver customer reviews to our Facebook page, and we use the Facebook integration to share our products on Facebook and Instagram. The YouTube integration in the WYSIWYG editor has been valuable for adding videos to our site.
I've looked at Shopify, Volusion, and a number of open source options. I selected BigCommerce for a number of reasons. Some of the most important include:
- Realtime Shipping Quotes
- Stable platform
- 99% up time
- BigCommerce doesn't take a percentage of sales
- Consistent pricing based on sales
- BigCommerce won't unexpectedly shut down your store (like Shopify has with some customers)
- No extra charges for traffic volume (Volusion)
