Overall Satisfaction with Bloomerang

Bloomerang is used by our development department. It successfully keeps all of our contacts in one internet-based database.

  • Sage, Donor Perfect and Razor's Edge
We ultimately chose it because of the flexibility and because it's internet based. The price can be a challenge for beginning or data-transferring users. But it has a lot of benefits. The help staff have also been very helpful and responsive to questions about the product.
If someone has never used a database or wants to use an online database, it is an ideal fit. It is easy to use and makes reporting easy.

I would not typically use it for volunteer tracking. There is that option, but as an organization with extensive volunteers it could get expensive (because you pay based on the number of entries) as well as it's much better suited to development.
