Overall Satisfaction with Bloomfire

My company, which develops and deploys financial software, uses Bloomfire for our internal knowledge base. It gives us a centralized place for information about setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting for our software. Everyone at our company has read access to it, some of us contribute articles.
  • Nice visualization on screen
  • Intuitive, requires little instruction for users
  • Very fast, responsive
  • Search capabilities could be enhanced to massively search articles for text.
  • Bloomfire has fulfilled the need we had for a knowledge base.
  • Good for saving employees' time digging around for solutions.
We use Tracker to manage contacts with clients, so it serves a different function than Bloomfire. Tracker has been less satisfactory than Bloomfire, but it has a different role in our company. We're moving to SalesForce soon, but keeping Bloomfire.
I'm not in an administrator role for Bloomfire so I don't know anything about the support side.
Bloomfire is very easy to use. We don't have to train employees on it. It's intuitive for anyone comfortable working with computers.

Do you think Bloomfire delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Bloomfire's feature set?

Yes

Did Bloomfire live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Bloomfire go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Bloomfire again?

Yes

I don't have much experience with other products, but Bloomfire is easy to use and has interactive features, like the ability to "like" articles. It also has a decent and fast search function. It's easy to cut-and-paste into, add screenprints or pictures. It's a good product.
