Overall Satisfaction with CCH® SureTax®
The company I work for currently uses it for tax calculations and reporting for various entities in both the US and outside the US. Reporting is run on a monthly basis to assist with tax return compliance and payment of taxes due to the appropriate jurisdictions. It is also used for running audit checks against the ERP the company uses.
- Displays Tax Information.
- Basic Reporting Tool.
- Allows for Custom Period Choice for Reporting Purposes.
- Reporting needs to be more extensive, too basic as currently set up.
- Ability to run custom extracts using filters.
- Seeing Tax Rates and rules in a much more detailed manner.
- Need better reporting overall, not robust enough.
- Not detailed enough info in system for tax rates and rules.
- Allowed for some automation in the tax process.
In my opinion, both of those products are superior to Sure Tax and offer a far more robust system offering. That includes seeing tax rules and rates, running many different reports, and custom extract reporting.
