Overall Satisfaction with Checkout.com

We are currently using Checkout.com as our Payment Gateway for our websites to process credit cards and payments for purchases.

This allows us to digitally collect payments and reconcile immediately instead of processing them manually with bank transfers or cheques. At the same time, refunds are also processed automatically through our billing portal, providing smoother day-to-day operations.

Pros

Cons

  • Would like to see Checkout.com available in more ASEAN regions, especially Malaysia
  • Less man hours to process more payments
  • Significant increase in acceptance rates since using Checkout.com
Checkout.com has constantly educated us on the various failure error codes and allowing us to understand the whole process of credit card payments.

This allows us to train internal staffs and come up with proper response to our customers whenever there's an error with their payment. At the same time, their experience also allow us to setup an algorithm to approve our acceptance rates.
Support has been top-notch. I've been with 3 different payment processors in the past and they did not provide any support with regards to failed payments, regular calls to optimize our acceptance rating.

Checkout.com has been in constant communication with us since Day 1, explaining trends and providing us with data and explaining to us how we can improve to get the most out of Checkout.com.
Both CyberSource and Ingenico provided poor support on any types of issues. Integration was a nightmare as it took months just to set them up as compared to Checkout.com.

Checkout.com provided us with quick integration and constant monitoring of our transactions which is what we really needed.

The ease of integration using Checkout.com with Zuora was a main deal breaker for us. It took us less than 1 business day to setup. Our CSM took over almost immediately when setup was completed and provided some potential plans on how we can improve approval ratings. At the same time, Checkout.com constantly introduces new features which is something I've rarely seen from my previous payment processors.

Personally, I feel that Checkout.com should be used in any scenario where E-commerce is involved.
