Overall Satisfaction with Checkout.com

We use Checkout.com for cross-border cards and, starting next week, handle Nordic countries and part of the UK market. With Checkout.com, we can split volumes among providers to have redundancy and optimize performance so that Checkout.com may be the best option. In addition, we use checkout.com to handle exemptions (TRA) in a currency different than EUR and take advantage of their threshold in the UK, which is higher than all our providers.
  • Account Manager definitely present to quickly handle our needs.
  • Checkout.com is the only provider proactively proposing solutions to optimize our routing strategy to increase conversion rates and reduce costs for more than ten years.
  • They have extreme expertise in the area of payments that is not so obvious.
  • Regarding IA, the report did not contain much data at the beginning, but they worked on it. This is excellent!
  • I would like no limits in volumes due to some questionable stakes.

  • To be honest the performance are in line with other providers.
  • The positive impact is related to the quality of the services, very high and easy to handle.
  • The negative impact is related to the revision of manageable volumes due to the revision of risks other than those expected after contract signing.
Checkout.com proactively analyzed the structure of our entities and the characteristics of the volumes they handled on our behalf and proposed that we use the UK entity to process Indian, Canadian, and Philippine cards to reduce acquisition costs and increase acceptance rates. This never happened with the other vendors we had because no one proactively tried to analyze our transactions and optimize costs and performance.
When we were discovering the possibility of opening an entity in the United States to process transactions as domestic cards, Checkout.com did not just quickly provide the requirements to open that market as we asked them to but showed us slides with all the possibilities we had for each of their licenses in the world, calculating an estimate of the acquiring costs and acceptance rate we would have, based on the cross-border volumes we were processing with them, to evaluate other ways to improve our business.
Checkout.com offers services that are in line with competitors and the payment industry. What they have more than others is proactivity; they have an internal infrastructure that works very well because their account managers can provide quick responses to our needs. We have often had to work with account managers who cannot keep up with our requests, not because of personal characteristics, but because usually behind them is a company that is either too complicated, poorly structured, or not adequately staffed to handle all their customers.

Checkout.com is the best provider we have had in the last ten years. It is very well suited to developing solutions for conversion rate optimization, cost reduction, and services like smart acceptance. I don't see any issue with them; there is no scenario they are not able to handle. I don't see any scenario in which they are not suitable.
