Overall Satisfaction with Checkout.com

We use it to process card payments and manage our chargebacks. We removed all fraud rules and used another service to risk score transactions, as we find the preset rules very limiting and clunky.
  • Quick for pulling reports.
  • Simple management of allow and block lists.
  • Quick and responsive portal.
  • Dashboards are not intuitive and difficult to create/manage.
  • You can't select more fields (e.g., email address) when reviewing disputes, and you can't accept more than one at a time.
  • Preset fraud rules cause a lot of unnecessary friction.
  • I don't think our approval rates changed significantly.
  • We had to remove all fraud rules to achieve the same approval rates as with the previous partner.
It's similar to our previous partner—no significant change.
We had issues with payments being blocked even after disabling all fraud rules. The account manager initially provided us with a solution that didn't work. Once we realized it didn't work, they escalated the issue to another team, and we are still waiting for them to reply. I'd expect account managers to know how the system works.

From the operational standpoint, it's similar. The Checkout portal is a bit more user-friendly, and approval rates are similar.
