Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switches

We use them both as access layer and core switches, as we are a large company, but mostly distributed up and down the east coast of the U.S. in smaller-sized branches. We need something with complex ability, but simple management to keep the network up and functioning as much as possible.

We have updated to a newer hyper-converged cluster and use the 9200 to link to the rest of the network equipment, from servers to other appliances and switching and edge devices. The sheer speed is noticeable compared to the older 3rd-party switches we had prior and keep our network running at optimal speeds.
We actually replaced various HP and Dell switches with the Cisco Catalyst line of switches with minimal fuss, but the enhanced capabilities are well worth the newer hardware we upgraded to. It also helps integrate with our Cisco Webex Teams and Cisco Meraki networking gear we have as well. They are easy to use as well.
