Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Headset 700 Series
I use it [Cisco Headset 700 Series] every day as my main headset for all calls, video calls, etc. Several people within my team also use it as their main headset. Solves our need to not use our laptop mic and provide better quality and clarity in talking/listening.
Pros
- Sound - clarity and bass tones are great
- Comfortable
- Noise cancelling
Cons
- Bluetooth connection - sometimes takes 1-2 times to connect properly.
- Receiving multiple calls - sometimes when I am on Webex and receive a call, it disconnects or when I decline the call, it loses the Webex connectivity.
- Disconnecting multiple devices using - when I disconnect my phone from it, it will lose connection from my laptop as well.
- Positive - greater productivity while wearing the headset.
- Positive - allows flexibility to move around office or home and still stay connected and ability to communicate.
- Negative - long hours of wear get stressful on ears.
Yes. The setup was easy to connect to both cellular phone and laptop. Switching between the two is easy, but sometimes it loses connection if you get calls on both simultaneously or if one cell phone and a Webex call comes in - connection can get cutoff. Quick charging has also been a huge benefit...I can use [them] all day and charge for 30-45 minutes at [the] end of day and it's fully charged again.
Crisp audio and deep base has been key to listening to others communicating or making calls.
Yes. I've set up different setting[s] on my cell phone, as I downloaded the Cisco headset app and can adjust when I'm just using the headset on my cell phone as I walk around the house on calls. It also provides me up to date charging time and percentage. Very helpful.
I used previously the Plantronics headset with over the mouth microphone. It worked well and was more comfortable wearing for long periods of time. However, it didn't have noise canceling and could hear background noises which caused problems. Cisco Headset [700 Series] clears that up and is a must when working from home.
