Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Umbrella
We use Cisco Umbrella to secure our internet traffic from our retail locations to the internet. Because it's a cloud-managed central solution, we can manage all of our traffic in one spot. So it addresses the use case of not having everything distributed across 700 different individual locations.
- Log. So I can see lots of traffic in one spot. Security texts us from malicious web destinations on the internet.
- It's easy to use.
- I can't really think of any right now. I mean there are probably some, but from my use case, I think it would be good if it could do dynamic inspection of web destinations rather than static analysis.
So we only use it for remote branch offices and we don't use the DNS portion. We use the umbrella firewall and it works really well because of the better together scenario where we have the branch office talking directly to Umbrella. It does seamlessly fit within the tech stack. We do not integrate with any third parties though, so I don't really know.
