Overall Satisfaction with Cloudflare

We decided to use the Cloudflare Warp product to replace our Cisco VPN. It's been frustrating to say the least. The application is always breaking for users and the performance has been horrible. Cloudflare customer service has been useless. The solution was to purchase premium support for $4K a month to attempt to solve basic issues that should have been part of onboarding. Moving to Zscaler.
  • Documentation
  • Customer support
  • Fix known performance issues
  • Wasted time on deployment
  • Negative ROI
Cloudflare can't compare to the reliability and ease of setup configuration.
Onboarding was an ongoing frustrating time period. The application never worked properly on a consistent basis.
Support was sub par. The basic level 1 help desk is lacking basic product knowledge. A good example would be a performance issue that we were having across the organization. After much back and forth with the help desk, it was deemed to be a low level display issue. At this point, we gave up with their support.

Would you buy Cloudflare again?

The Cloudflare suite is a powerful solution but their Warp product is not baked. Basic customer support leaves a lot to be desired as you will have no access to a technical response unless you pay for premium support. The level one desk is useless.
