Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)
I'm currently the only person at my organization using ConnectWise Control, we were provided with LogMeIn, but after many frustrations, I decided to find my own solution, which I came across this one. It's affordable and spending my own money to avoid the headache was definitely worth it. I see my coworkers are still frustrated with LogMeIn, while I have no issues so far with ConnectWise Control and I was glad to that I made this decision.
- Doesn't require a download, everything can be done on a browser.
- Easy to tell users how to connect.
- Most importantly, it's affordable.
- A way to converse with the user without having to open up a session, I've been told many times that the user has tried to message me while I went onto a different session, once I connect to their session, I see that they have written me a paragraph, but there was no way for me to see it on my end.
- Putting the manage toolbox option in a more visible and accessible location, it took me awhile to find out that I had to click on my name on the bottom left to access it to add or remove any tools.
- Saved me tons of headache because other remoting tools are more complicated to use.
There are some from each product that I like, but the main reason I went with ConnectWise Control is the cost.
