Overall Satisfaction with Cornerstone OnDemand
Cornerstone is used by our whole organization. At the moment we use it as a basic internal communication tool for employees and mainly as an LMS. It helps distribute online training, send reminder emails, and track and report on training for compliance. I helps with automated training emails and report generation.
- Customization. There are plenty of options and ways to do what you might want to serve your training needs.
- Reporting. The new Reporting 2.0 feature is good and getting better. It makes it easy to create a report you want and share it with others, including dashboards.
- Learning Assignment Tool. This tool is a wizard that makes assigning easy and provides a lot of options (one-time vs recurring, individual or group assignment, dynamic assignment to new hires, etc). Fantastic feature.
- The back button on the browser sometimes works, sometimes doesn't and breadcrumbs are not always available to go back to where you need to go.
- Some of the older page designs use very small text and are not intuitive. However, these are slowly being revamped and the new pages are wonderful.
- I have experienced poor customer service - delays in responding, stressed employees - so I have learned to rely on the client forums instead. However, I hear this is beginning to change.
- Compliance. For compliance, due to the reporting and dashboards platform, this has been easy to do.
- Engagement. The ability to add different types of training and content and put it in different formats (curricula, playlists, etc) helps reach learners with different needs.
- Automation. Yes, the automated emails and automated assignments are a huge timesaver.
