Overall Satisfaction with D&B Finance Analytics
I use D & B to determine credit for our new customers. D&B provides the information we need to determine what level of business we can predict with a potential customer. It is very helpful in other ways such as how likely are we to have continuing business from a business.
Pros

- I would like to see more background information on the owners of businesses.
- D & B is still a work in progress for us. We use the credit rating to determine if we extend credit to our customers or not.
- D & B information helps to determine the credit risk of a potential customer allowing for an overall increase in cash flow.
It helps to determine the potential time it takes for that particular customer to clear their debt.
With the data provided by D&B we are able to make better decisions in all aspects of New Customer relations. It allows us to have an idea of a potential customer relationship before meeting.

We have been able to decrease our past due Accounts Receivable by making smarter credit decisions. We have reduced our Allowance for Doubtful accounts by forming business deals with customers who are able to pay their bills. We have collected on past due balances with the data provided about business deals.
We have not tried other products like this one. When I started working at my current job, they were already using D&B. I became very impressed with the products ability to help my company with smarter business decisions. The positive results as a result of D&B's products give us no reason to look at other products.

No, we did not purchase premium support due to the cost and uncertainty of the use. I have used the support and it seems to be very useful in resolving my issues. I do not feel the need to purchase anything other than the basic support at this time. If i feel the need to in the future i will purchase it then.
When it comes to the billing, we were given the option to pay in installments and the customer support was exceptional in getting this done. She stayed on top of things until we were satisfied with the results. Anytime i had a billing question i was comfortable in reaching out and getting a quick response.
