Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

Deputy is being used as our time and attendance and scheduling platform across my entire organization.
  • The instances where the platform is unavailable are rare.
  • It is easy to get in contact with support.
  • Support: My request is rarely addressed properly, solutions are painfully slow, and my issue is rarely understood by support.
  • Security: Most recently, I discovered my employees are able to edit their own timesheets. Support has no appreciation for the gaping security hole this creates in my organization.
  • Responses to chat from support are so slow that I typically lose interest before the conversation is complete.
  • Solutions that require any actual work to accomplish take months to complete and are completed poorly even after taking that long.
  • Scheduling piece is fairly efficient to use; better than other software.
  • I have had to dedicate my own efforts to solutions to fix exports from Deputy that were not designed to spec initially.

User Interface is fairly simple and easy to use.
If you have use for Deputy as is and will require no support whatsoever, it may serve you well. If you need any support, look elsewhere. Their scheduling works well for our purposes because we have had to learn workarounds for every shortcoming over years of using the product.
