Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use DISCO for multiple cases in our litigation department. We have been particularly impressed by the ease of use for DISCO's document review platform, which we find produces significant efficiency gains not only for document coding/review, but also for later retrieval during deposition/witness prep, and motion practice.

DISCO could simplify and expedite the process for putting a project on ice, or terminating it altogether.

Likelihood to Recommend

DISCO is particularly well-suited for document-intensive litigation, especially where multiple codes may be required for each document. The ease of use, especially on the coding side of document review, is exceptional.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write such a great review! We really appreciate you sharing your feedback - it is very exciting to hear how DISCO is impacting your practice. I’m particularly pleased to read it is making your work more efficient and in turn allowing you to more cost-effectively serve your clients. I’m sorry the process for icing/vaulting or terminating/de-activating a matter isn’t as simple as you’d like. Those extra steps and safety nets are in place because we have had experiences that clients deactivated matters and regretted it, and the work product was lost. So, based on those experiences, we’ve added additional hoops. I’m sorry it is painful, but I hope it helps ensure you never accidentally de-active a matter. If you’re an organization administrator, you can delete your review database yourself as well from the Organization Manager screen. Thank you again for writing this review. Knowing the demand on litigation teams “to do more with less” it is wonderful hearing that DISCO has allowed your firm to complete more document-intensive discovery tasks with the same staffing levels.
