I have definitely been able to simplify the process of securing apps with F5 Distributed Cloud WAF (Web Application Firewall). It is still quite a bit of work to do accomplish this task. I love that we can build one policy for an app and export/import to all upper environemtns with ease once well tested.
Yes - We have both Hardware on prem and AWS instances in our env.
