Overall Satisfaction with Figma

We use it to design everything before it goes into production. Our design system, our benchmarks, our various iterations, even birthday messages. Everything goes in Figma. It lets us collaborate on designs, present them to stakeholders, create prototypes to test with users, and iterate rapidly. The collaboration aspect is key. It's a one-stop-shop for us.
  • Collaboration
  • Quick iterations
  • Rapid prototyping
  • Component properties are cool, but still feel a bit barebones
  • Prototypes quickly become complex and hard to manage
  • Being browser-based, it's easy to reach Figma's capacity in terms of stuff happening in a single page
  • Image scaling in components is annoying
  • Collaboration and comments
  • Components
  • Online access
  • Community plugins
  • Lots of possibilities in one place, no need for multiple software for most stufff
Adobe XD really feels like a tool stuck in the past when compared to Figma. Online collaboration, autolayout, reponsive options, it's hard to argue for XD.

Do you think Figma delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Figma's feature set?

Yes

Did Figma live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Figma go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Figma again?

Yes

I've used Figma to create so many things, it's starting to be hard to dissociate anything from it. Obviously anything to do with images is not so appropriate. Anything to do with dynamic interfaces or animation is also not so appropriate, even if it's possible to make it work.

Figma is really well suited to take a design from concept to reality with perhaps some help from other tools or software. Plan your page in Figma, iterate on it, then make it pop with an animation from somewhere else.
