Overall Satisfaction with Flipgrid
I use Flipgrid with my students in responding to prompts and assignments. It allows students in our classrooms to be able to respond to us without having to speak in front of a room full of their peers. It gives them the opportunity to record their response in a private setting and having the ability to express themselves with fear of failure in front of others.
- Ease of use for students.
- Teacher support and community encouraged by the company.
- Students can get carried away with stickers and filters with their recordings.
- Issues arise if students have to use older devices.
- Flipgrid provides our students with a sense of accomplishment with their videos.
- Students enjoy creating their own product.
Flipgrid gives students the ability to create their own products. Nearpod provides teachers with the platform to send lessons and information out to students, where Flipgrid is the way for students to respond to questions and prompts by their teachers. It allows them to create their video and their response. It does not have to be a slide show with snippets added in.

We have several staff members that used Flipgrid in prior schools. The recommendations and positive feedback help to encourage staff members who were unfamiliar to feel comfortable to try and implement it.
