Overall Satisfaction with Forcepoint Web Security

Forcepoint Web Security is primarily used to block malicious websites. We have also set it to block sites that consume large amounts of bandwidth. It is used across the whole organization.
  • Blocking malicious websites.
  • Great support.
  • Very high learning curve to administer.
  • Reporting functionality is terrible (version 8.1).
  • Very good return on investment.
  • The objective of the product was to keep my company malware free, and it has done that.
I used a Barracuda product at a previous company. It appeared to require less administration but had less functionality than Forcepoint Web Security.
Forcepoint Web Security is well suited for medium-sized organizations that have dedicated network administrators to address issues as they arise (blocked websites, programs that do not work, etc.).
