We use Gong for training purposes with our SDR and Sales team. This tool helps up look back at our conversations and find tactics where we could've done better and also point out the things we did well while conducting our sales pitches. This is how we refine our communication skills.
  • Transcript is pretty on point.
  • Upload calls in timely manner.
  • Sends notifications when calls are scored.
  • I wish it didn't time-out the sessions so quickly.
  • We have a clear expectation of call scripts that we can hold people accountable to.

We use Gong in the SDR department very consistently for reps who need improvement and for general call coaching sessions. We also use it to send calls to the sales reps who we book meetings for - in our industry there is a lot of technical jargon that some entry level SDR's don't quite understand - So, being able to send the initial phone call to the sales rep taking the meeting is helpful so everyone can be on the same page.
