Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We utilize Google Hangouts for team meetings and 1:1 calls. Most of the organization uses it. It does connect our team quickly and, usually, easily.

Connection sometimes the connection is dropped.
Sound quality and sound features.
Single link meetings and meeting start and end times.

Return on Investment

It's easy to use for most internal folks but is hard to use for clients.
Sound issues can slow down meetings.
Video is great and screen sharing makes communication easy.

Alternatives Considered

Zoom

Google Hangouts is free or inexpensive, while Zoom does cost money. Zoom is better quality though and easier click to join, not all customers want to install Zoom.
