Overall Satisfaction with Indeed Hiring Platform

The Indeed Hiring Platform is used across our entire organization. As a user, our hiring manager gave me access to review candidates that applied for open positions within our department. I have quick access to the resumes and job history of all our applicants. But my favorite feature was the Invites that Indeed would let us send out to potential candidates. We had a great batch of people to select from.
  • Simple user interface. It is well organized by open jobs and filters down to the best candidates.
  • Access to Indeed's database of individuals who can be invited to apply to an open position.
  • Effective communication system between employer and job candidates.
  • Sometimes the resume formatting is different from the attached resumes.

I think all people should use Indeed and keep their resumes updated on the platform. The algorithms in the database really work well to match candidates the postings within our team for all the roles within our organization. We had an employee who was retiring, so we wanted to get in a new hire quickly. We sent out invites to 10 people and selected one of them for the position. It was quick and seamless.

Using Indeed Hiring Platform

20 - Most of the users are plant managers who are hiring direct for operations. We are in a somewhat specialized industry, so Indeed helps them cast a wider net. I represent the finance side of the business, so I have a relatively easier time to find qualified candidates for our open positions.
3 - The first point of contact starts with the HR department. They are the administrators of the platform within our company. I work closely with their team to schedule in-person interviews. I think having a dedicated team to support the hiring process has been essential to help me keep focused on my role while also getting new employees hired quickly.

I've found Indeed to be an excellent product that delivered on most of my needs as a hiring manager. The Instant Match feature gives me an excellent list on candidates immediately at the beginning of our job search. They are constantly improving the service and adding new features. It fulfills my needs.

Indeed is a top-of-mind product for individuals who are looking for employment. Our organization is spread across 14 locations in 8 states, so we wanted a product that would be usable across all locations. The platform has been simple to use and implement across the business. The standardized process has been helpful overall.
Withe the current feedback from users within our organization, we aren't looking to change anytime soon. At this point, I would reach out to hiring managers to see if they have any pain points and then evaluate if Indeed has any potential feature we have not implemented. If needed, I would start researching what other options are available on the market.

We have purchased the Indeed Hiring Platform, which has commission based fees. The additional features that come with the entire platform has helped streamline the hiring process for our managers. Some of our roles are very time sensitive due to seasonality, so having the additional support benefits the company as a whole.
I haven't had to reach out to the support team directly, so I don't have an experience to share.

I have personally found the Indeed platform to be easy and intuitive to use. I have had minimal training from our HR department but I can quickly review candidate's applications. I really like the 3 buttons available when screening, the check, question mark, and X symbols are a quick way to evaluate the candidates and adds a filter for easily sorting everyone.
