Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

I work in an Admissions Office at a boarding school. We have used Insightly to market to, and manage, our potential student applicant list. Insightly has helped us to market to a wider range of potential candidates than before, as well as streamline our outreach. Insightly has enabled us to contact potential candidates through various employees at our school.

  • Notification that communication has been sent out, regardless as to who in the organization is sending the emails
  • We were able to reach potential clients that we would not normal have access to through our normal outreach methods
  • Insightly saved time with automated emails and client touches
  • The program was easy to use and maneuver through
It was an easy to use program. The features were probably better-suited to a more traditional sales environment, but we were able to achieve good results, nonetheless.
Insightly allowed us to spend less time individually with outreach as the platform allowed us to customize messages and schedule mailings without regular input from each employee. The messages were personalized and were sent in varying intervals so that the recipients were unaware that the messages were "programmed". It freed our time to focus on follow up and to engage potential clients in other ways.

Insightly is a useful marketing tool, especially to a more traditional sales organization. It wasn't quite geared to a school admissions office -- perhaps more professional than we need in a heavy face-to-face industry. Insightly would be very useful in a larger organization as, although we have more than 50 employees in our school, only 7 employees used Insightly - it was very specific just to admissions and marketing.
