Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

We use it for required employee onboarding training, ad-hoc refresher classes, quarterly training, "clicker" additional training, and Cybersecurity Awareness Month. This helps us make security a top-of-mind activity for our users. It helps us keep our environment safe from malicious activity.

Pros

  • Access to a variety of training
  • The training isn't boring and "institutional" like some other legacy training platforms
  • The length of the training meets our needs and our users don't dread doing it.
  • The interaction with the training modules themselves helps to keep the users engaged.

Cons

  • The are some modules that are too juvenile for a business imo
  • We used to have access to compliance modules but those were taken away and now require additional purchasing to access. This leaves a bad taste in our mouths.
  • I don't think KB4 should be putting time and resources into making "mini-series" shows. In my opinion, this doesn't really help organizations protect themselves from malicious activity.
  • We consistently get high percentages of completion from the remedial training campaigns.
  • I don't have to spend hours conducting in-person awareness training events. I can put my efforts elsewhere to help protect our digital assets.
  • Our security incidents have been reduced considerably since instituting SAT.
The response is quick and the staff is knowledgeable. The online documentation is some of the best that we've used. The content is easy to search and almost every time, I'm able to solve my issue without asking their support staff. Great job!

Very easy to use and manage
KB4 SAT is well suited for any company that needs to keep its users up to date on security risks and trends. It does a great job of training engagement for our users. The interface is easy to navigate and setting up training campaigns is straightforward. I don't think it is a good option in highly regulated environments with multiple compliance training requirements like government entities.
