Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)

I use it to scan client documents and keep electronic records on my computer and the cloud. I also use it to digitally sign documents. I also use it to organize the pages within a PDF file such as moving the order of pages around and to make notations on documents.
  • Keep documents organized.
  • It's good for securing PDF files.
  • I also like to use it to digitally sign documents.
  • Improve key word searches. Use plain English and common sense words.
  • Make it easier to move pages around. In other words make it easier to sort the pages the way I want them to be sorted.
  • Allow me to erase words, paragraphs, or graphics in a PDF file.
  • It saves me paper.
  • Definitely a time saver.
Some parts are easy to use and others, not so much. I mentioned earlier some of the issues I have with the software but overall it is a good value in my opinion and I intend to keep on using it. It just needs some refinement. It would be nice to be able to simply right click on a PDF and encrypt it.
Adobe is too expensive in my view.

Rotating documents, securing PDF files with encryption, changing the order of documents in a pdf file. Just wish it was easier to erase parts of a pdf file, like a customers name, or account number.
Very good for organizing documents. It is harder to edit PDF files than I would like. I would like to see more use of the right click button on my mouse to have more options on a document. It would be nice to simply right click on a page and have the option to rotate a document for instance. Or right click to edit a document or erase part of a document. Right now, it is cumbersome to rotate PDF files, imo.
